The UMBC Department of Theatre presents Hunting and Gathering by Brooke Berman, directed by Susan Stroupe.

Four young New Yorkers try to play the game of happiness, but the rules are changing as fast as their addresses. Will they be buried under their growing piles of baggage, or break from the path and forge a new way to personhood? Hunting and Gathering is a bold, funny, and slightly surreal play that explores how we find stability in an unstable world.

“Berman finds a fresh and funny way of looking at the mortal terrors of being young and on your own in a bewildering existential landscape.” —Marilyn Stasio, Variety
