Comprised of outstanding string faculty from the region, the New Bartók Quartet — Airi Yoshioka, violin (UMBC); James Stern, viola, and Eric Kutz, cello (University of Maryland, College Park); and Wanchi, violin (James Madison University) — will perform the String Quartet No. 15, K. 421 by Mozart (1756–1791) and the String Quartet No. 6 by Béla Bartók (1881–1945).
$15 general admission, $10 seniors, $5 students, free for UMBC music majors and music faculty/staff, available online (Fall 2019) or at the box office one hour prior to the performance.
